First I would like to boast about my new lens!!
I bought Tamron 90 mm Macro and
I am in love in it from the first photo ;)
And today my all pictures were tooken by this lens.

Last time I promised to write you something about sharpness.
For me it is difficult theme because I am not an expert in this section,
but I will try to write the best I can.
And don't forget that I am still learning this art of photography.
1. The first my advice is simple:
practice, practice, practice!!!!
Everytime and wherever you are in a room, garden, street, with friends.
2. I usually use my prime lens. They always give you more beautiful
depth of field and are more sharpness than zooms.
So my zoom are my legs :D
3. If you make portraits of children, you should choose higher
shutter speed than 1/125th to avoid motion blur.
4. By portraits I always focus on the eye - the closer to
my camera. And don't forget to set your AF point to a single point of focus rather
than choose the auto mode
5. Low ISO means sharpner photo. I usually use ISO till 400.
6. If I have difficult conditions, I avoid to use the maximum lens aperture.
Specially with children!
Lenses are sharpest 2-3 stops down from wide open
7. When you resize your photo to post them to your homepage or blog
don't forget to sharp it! My favorite techniques for sharpening is the high pass filter
in Photoshop and I use it on almost every image.
8. Before sending your photo don't forget to correct
contrast, bright and saturation of your picture.
9. By portraits take more time to focus your photo. Don't do this too fast
but
if your subject is moving, you can shoot several shots
and select the sharpest image from the series.
10. If you're shooting someone, who is running for your camera,
you should following the subject with your len.
The shutter speed should be higher than 1/500th
That's all.
I wish you a lot of sharpness photos
Hugs
:D
